الخارجية الأثيوبية: نراعى شواغل مصر بسد النهضة

قال المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الأثيوبية، السفير دينا مفتى، إن "سد النهضة لتوليد الطاقة الكهرومائية والجارى بناؤه على النيل الأزرق، سيفيد كلا من دولتى المصب وهما السودان ومصر، وأنه يجرى مراعاة شواغل مصر من خلال لجنة الخبراء الفنية الدولية".
وأضاف المتحدث فى تصريحات نقلها الموقع الإخبارى للتلفزيون الأثيوبى اليوم "الأحد"، إن هذا السد لن يلحق أى أضرار بمصر والسودان بل سيقدم مزايا لهاتين الدولتين، حيث سيوفر الطاقة وسيحد من تراكم الطمى ويحافظ على المياه فى حالة الجفاف.
وأوضح أن أثيوبيا تقوم ببناء هذا السد بهدف تلبية الطلب المتزايد على الطاقة فى البلاد، وأنه يجرى خلال ذلك مراعاة شواغل مصر عبر لجنة الخبراء الفنية الدولية.

The spokesman said in remarks carried by news website Ethiopian television today, "Sunday", said that this dam will not inflicted any damage in Egypt and Sudan, but will offer the advantages of these two countries, which will save energy and reduce the accumulation of silt and keeps the water in case of drought.

He pointed out that Ethiopia is building the dam in order to meet the growing demand for energy in the country, and it carried through taking into account the concerns of Egypt through the Technical Committee of Experts International.
